Our story

How it all started

Founded in 1985 by husband-and-wife team Alan and Patricia Redszus, Fastrans traces its roots back to local cartage and regional transportation services.

Fastrans began moving into logistics after one customer began having challenges delivering its amusement games to locations across the United States. Trucks would at times arrive to unload the games at a new store or restaurant before the site was ready. Fastrans stepped in with the solution of providing short-term local storage locations to hold and deliver the product once the site was ready.

Recognizing that this need to coordinate and manage deliveries of furniture and fixtures into new and remodeled locations was widespread, Fastrans integrated their transportation background with a system of inventory tracking and hi-tech communication to meet similar needs in the hospitality, restaurant and retail industries.

Today Fastrans Logistics operates as a certified Women-Owned Business providing FF&E and OS&E Supply Chain Management Services to the Hospitality, Restaurant, Multi-Family and Retail industries for new builds, renovations, and rollouts.  Our extensive experience in the industry has allowed Fastrans’ unique system of logistics and inventory management to prove its value with over 7500 projects completed to date.
